US Election Victory Will Be Decided In Key Swing States

It's been a crucial neck-and-neck Presidential contest in the US, where votes are being counted for Democratic candidate and former Vice-President Joe Biden in a tough fight with Republican Donald Trump, who looks to confound pollsters and pundits with his re-election. Sriram Lakshman, US correspondent for The Hindu, says the US Election 2020 would be decided by key swing states of Arizona, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania. "They will have to win Pennsylvania. The victory also depends on who came out to vote. It is seen that more Democrats vote early, and more Republicans vote later," Mr Lakshman said. Mr Trump enjoys an unexpectedly close contest despite odds being stacked against him with coronavirus surge and deaths, state of the economy and unrest on the streets.
