"The Mi-17 is the workhorse of the Indian Air Force. The machine is very reliable, helicopter pilots swear by it. Why did it crash - I'm sure there will be a very high-level probe into it," says retired Air Vice Marshal Manmohan Bahadur on the fatal chopper crash that killed 13, including Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat.
