Suspension Of 12 MPs From Parliament Undemocratic: Abhishek Singhvi

"Opposition members are right about Rule 256. The rule says the member can be suspended not exceeding the remainder of the session. We respect the Chair because of the institution but the institution is above the Chair," said Congress MP Abhishek Singhvi. Twelve opposition MPs from Rajya Sabha have been suspended from parliament's winter session for the shocking violence on the last day of the monsoon session. The opposition has condemned the suspension, saying it is against the rules.
