Other Countries Shield Farmers From Fluctuations: Former Agriculture Secretary

Speaking to NDTV, former Secretary, Agriculture, Government of India, Siraj Hussan said, "I think it is a very complex question which cannot be decided by the government in a manner in which the farmers want it." He suggested that the government look into how to "shield farmers from huge fluctuations" and gave examples of what other countries are doing in this regard.
