"Big Bogey In Karnataka About Forced Conversions": Bengaluru Archbishop

A controversy has erupted over an alleged government survey undertaken on churches in Karnataka. The survey has been challenged in court while churches have also questioned the Karnataka government's Anti-Conversion Bill. Dr Peter Machado, Metropolitan Archbishop of Bangalore, says, "there is a big bogey in Karnataka about forced conversions, I am not aware where it is and how forced they are, I don't think it is true. Karnataka Govt must not allow fringe elements to act, there is harmony among Christians & Hindus in Karnataka'
