1.61 Lakh Fresh Covid-19 Cases In India, 1.36 Crore Total Cases

India recorded 1,61,736 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, slightly lower than yesterday, pushing the country's caseload to over 1.36 crore. The resurgence of the virus led to 879 new fatalities, taking the total death count to 1,71,058.
