What Teachers, Students Want From Budget Amid Pandemic

Over the next few days and weeks, the Finance Minister and her counterparts in the states will present keenly watched budgets that are expected to push recovery across sectors in the country as it tries to emerge from the crippling COVID-19 pandemic. One sector that will be keenly watched is education, where the pandemic seems to have worsened inequalities and increased the digital divide between rural and urban areas.
