Hyderabad Civic Body Polls: Counting Of Votes Today

Counting of votes is on for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections to elect corporators for 150 divisions and also a city mayor. It is a local body election that has grabbed national headlines because the BJP has pitched the Hyderabad corporation as a stepping stone to power in the state. The BJP upped the stakes bringing in a galaxy of national leaders to campaign in what were fierce and vitriolic exchanges between leaders of the national party and the ruling TRS and also AIMIM.
