Cold Wave Grips Delhi, Temperature Below 5 Degrees

Icy winds swept north India on Wednesday. The mercury dropped below the freezing point in several hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Delhi registered a minimum temperature of 5.8 degrees. The Met department has predicted both "cold day" and "cold wave" in parts of the national capital on Thursday and Friday.
