Tamil Nadu Sees Biggest Single-Day Jump In COVID-19 Cases

The spike in the number of infections in Tamil Nadu touched a new high with 2,710 people testing positive over the last 24 hours. Chennai accounts for a bulk of it with nearly 1,500 from the city. The state, which has reported 62,087 coronavirus cases so far, has tweaked its strategy in Chennai in a bid to flatten the curve.
