Can People Catch Coronavirus From Pets?

When a dog in Hong-Kong was tested positive with coronavirus, it sparked concern whether pets could spread the disease. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has, however, said that there is no evidence that a dog or cat or any pet can transmit coronavirus to humans. Doctors answer questions about transmission of coronavirus from pets to people, or whether it is safe to take pets out for a walk during the long shutdown.
