Did Budget Meet Farmers' Expectations?

Union Finance Minister tabled the budget on Saturday and it seems to have failed in cheering the farming community in Punjab. The farmers said that the minister failed to touch upon key issues and long pending-demands like farm suicide, debt waiver, rising input cost and dwindling income. The new initiatives and announcements will take time to be implemented, said the farmers.
