The nationwide Bharat Bandh called by different trade unions evoked a mixed response in Bihar... But the impact in the neighbouring Jharkhand was near total as mining operations was severely affected. But on the streets of Patna, women working in Aanganvadi Kendra and Asha workers, in large numbers came out in support demanding enhanced wage.
