"Stand Up And Respect Parliament," Says PM Amid Citizenship Act Protests

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a fierce attack on the those holding countrywide protests over the new citizenship law, challenging them to "lay bare" before the country if any of the government's welfare policies discriminated against citizens. At a rally in Ram Lila Maidian, with the backdrop of the majestic Red Fort, he said, "Stand up and respect parliament, respect the government elected by the people".
