BJP, JMM-Congress Locked In Tight Battle In Jharkhand Election

Jharkhand Election Results 2019: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress alliance took a lead over the ruling BJP as votes cast for the Jharkhand election were counted on Monday. At least three exit polls have predicted a win for the Congress-JMM-Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) alliance. Elections were conducted in 81 assembly seats of the state in five phases from November 30 to December 20. In the Lok Sabha elections held earlier this year, BJP had won 11 seats out of 14 in the state.
